About Our Organization

Empowering Teens in Aliso Viejo

The AV Youth Council was founded by teen Sanvi Shah under the guidance of Aliso Viejo Councilmember and Former Mayor Ross Chun in the summer of 2023. With the growing unawareness of modern politics and relevant issues impacting the Aliso Viejo community, the 16 council members focus on spreading understanding and sensitivity via local forums. The 16 council members and Mr. Chun discuss significant topics in monthly meetings with occasional guest members, attending/volunteering at events, and simple tasks such as articles to promote awareness. Please look through our website for more information and updates!
